Lead the charge in increasing bulk gas sales for the regional company.
Promote niche products to your team and end-user customers.
Develop and execute strategic bulk gas marketing plans for the region.
Continuously review and monitor monthly bulk gas sales and profitability by product and territory.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities.
Foster strategic alliances with group purchasing organizations to expand Airgas' reach.
Actively participate in trade association meetings to promote Airgas.
Provide input to enhance literature and sales materials.
Customer Engagement:
Cultivate strong customer relationships and serve as their go-to resource for bulk gases.
Regularly engage with regional specialists and sales associates to drive sales growth.
Provide expert guidance on product offerings and application requirements.
Document competitive market activity and share insights with the team.
Proven sales track record with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Independent, adaptable under pressure, and goal-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for teamwork.
Territory knowledge within the region.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
5+ years of industrial sales experience, with a preference for experience in selling industrial gases and equipment to independent distributors and customers.
Demonstrated ability to achieve significant sales growth.
Knowledge of the welding/safety supply industry is advantageous.
