Overview

The Corporate Communications Manager leads the implementation and measurement of communications tactics to support internal and external brand building, reputation management, business growth, and employee engagement. They partner across the organization, including with senior leaders and business unit teams, to develop best-in-class omnichannel communications strategies to reach key target audiences and stakeholders. This role leads content planning and brand voice for internal and external corporate platforms, including intranet, LinkedIn, and other social media.

Responsibility

1. Develop, implement, and evaluate integrated communications strategies that span social media, media relations, email campaigns, and related communications strategies.
2. Create, revise, and implement communications material that delivers consistent key messages to target audiences through appropriate channels that are consistent with branding, messaging, and digital (social media) strategies.
3. Develop materials such as communications plans, leadership briefings, fact sheets, website content, and email blasts that are high quality and free of errors. Maintain strong quality assurance and control across all team deliverables.
4. Responsible for content development and execution of internal communication channels (newsletter, etc). Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues for updates and project needs.
5. Develop short and long-term plans, goals and budgets for social media and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluates performance.
6. Develop, implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the internal/employee communications and social media platforms for the Myriad brand.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. 4+ years' experience in a communications role developing program-level plans and project-specific artifacts.
3. Minimum 2+ years of corporate communications experience working in social media.
4. Proven experience in partnering with Human resources/people teams on benefit communications and employee engagement campaigns.
5. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills, combined with excellent writing and editing skills; able to work in a remote, team environment.
6. Ability to smoothly deliver high quality deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines; ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
7. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams/SharePoint).
8. Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
9. Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing (including social media), communications in a regulated industry, such as healthcare.

Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
