The OpportunityDo you enjoy working together in a hybrid operations-engineering environment, and are passionate about data quality when developing system solutions? We are the Business Operations team in the Office of the CIO within Adobe Technology Services (ATS)! We enable ATS to be run as a business. This role will collaborate with Finance, ATS business operations leads, cost center and resource managers to ensure the ATS operating plan aligns with targets for annual and ongoing ATS budgets.This Senior Business Operations Analyst will be equally at ease with detailed data discovery and communicating high level leadership overviews and not afraid to jump in with both feet. Your finance knowledge around P&L along with your social skills will help you engage with cross-functional teams to ensure active budget management through ongoing monitoring, variance analysis, and evaluation of action plans to control ATS costs.What you'll Do
  • Financial - Provide insight into metrics and performance measurements demonstrating ATS value, including run, grow and transform costs. Assist in the annual ATS operating planning process, and partner with groups within ATS and Finance to ensure ATS investments and ATS operations are aligned with business objectives. Help leadership analyze proposed plans and find alternatives based on budget and resource constraints.
  • Analysis- Collect and analyze complex data for reporting and performance, trend, cost/benefit, and other types of analyses. Provide actionable analysis and reporting to leadership teams. Perform benchmarking and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Communication - Work with ATS leadership to help identify potential areas for optimization in productivity and spend. Provide visibility on ATS costs, value, and risks to enable informed decision making, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation. Ensure partners understand relevant ATS financial management processes and procedures through training and readily available documentation. Assist leadership teams in building content for funding requests.
What you need to succeed
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a closely related degree
  • 8+ years' experience with financial planning and analysis within IT
  • Strong ability with Excel, pivot tables, data modeling, metrics and PowerPoint. Solid understanding of reporting systems such as Tableau or Power BI a plus
  • Understanding of budgeting and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $85,200 -- $187,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
