What does a Senior Logistics Project Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?

As the Senior Logistics Project Manager you will plan and execute department-wide transformation programs working with cross-departmental with Finance, HR, and IT. We are looking for a candidate who will participate in strategy planning and ensure the teams make effective decisions when presented with multiple options to progress with projects and initiatives. You will communicate with key stakeholders at all levels serving as a point of contact for teams to ensure initiatives remain in synergy with their goals. Performing quality control checks on projects throughout development to identify and escalate project risks, interpret financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting insights ensuring key milestones are met. Coaching, mentoring, and training key business process owners to ensure the portfolio of project goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the governance processes to plan, prioritize, track, and align work efforts across all programs within Logistics aligned to strategic initiatives.
  • Assists with evaluating business cases and ROI to the business to ensure contribution toward EBITDA growth glidepath.
  • Monitors project pipeline guaranteeing projects are completed on time, within budget and scope, and consistent with established standards verified with key stakeholders.
  • Aligns with data and information from corporate strategic programs to support the balanced scorecard.
  • Collaborates with logistics leaders and EPMO to improve business processes and procedures; Conducts training as needed.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders as a trusted advisor with effective communication standards.
  • Develops detailed project plans used to guide the execution and control of department-level projects; Validates scope, key milestones, schedules, resource requirements and escalates risks and opportunities.
  • Influences executives level stakeholders and drive leverage change management skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, statistics, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience with 3+ years Project Management Team Leadership role.
  • PMP or Agile or Lean Six Sigma training required.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, transportation, or supply chain role required.
  • Ability to travel across Swire Coca-Cola territories (up to 15%).
