Duties may include:

• Support the PCBA group by resolving problems that arise in the SMT process including solder paste printing, pick and place, reflow, SPI, x-ray inspection, AOI, Automated Storage, depanel, PCBA Wash, Ionic Tester and selective solder.
• Job duties may also include machine operation, setup, training, and helping operators on machine operation and setup, and ensuring proper program performance and efficiency.
• Assist in creating work Instructions as well as provide redlines and/or updates.
• Assist in any new tool design required to support the PCBA group by developing tooling concepts.
• Assist on the qualification of new SMT equipment and on the validation of new PCBAs.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and disposition product that has failed.

Education and Experience

* 5+ years of experience manufacturing PCBAs, SMT processes, SMT programming, in contract manufacturing or similar industry.

* Experience with Juki SMT equipment and Koh Young inspection tools is a plus

* Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001
