We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operational Analyst to join our team. As an operational analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and improving our organization's internal processes, controls, and risk management. Your primary focus will be on assessing operational efficiency, compliance with policies and procedures, and identifying areas for enhancement. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement, we encourage you to apply. This position is a hybrid role that currently requires going to the office two days per week and will preferably be located in Salt Lake City, Utah or Louisville, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of operational controls and risk management practices.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop audit plans, and implement audit procedures.
  • Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to management.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to operational teams on best practices and process improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to continuously improve audit methodologies.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in one of the following: implementing operational processes (e.g. maintenance, construction projects, supply chain, NERC compliance, environmental, business development, commercial trading), risk management, auditing, or related fields.
  • Experience with operational technology (OT) systems (e.g. SCADA, DCS) a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $85.000 and $106.250/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
