SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsible for implementing and maintaining Business Intelligence Systems globally, ensuring adherence to company's standards for new and existing systems. Responsible for the worldwide implementation, testing, maintenance, and training of various BI tools, AI technologies, and data management tools. Collaborates closely with the Operational Systems team and Data
Governance team.

Note: During the 90-day period following the employee's hire, the employee is classified as a new employee; both Merit and the employee should use this period to evaluate the employee's skills, qualifications, and fit for the position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Assesses, plans, and oversees the system needs for the following systems:
BI Tools:
* Proven experience in designing and developing interactive and insightful dashboards using industry standard data visualization tools.
* Ability to extract and transform data from diverse sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
* Strong proficiency in other Business Intelligence tools to ensure a comprehensive understanding of diverse data analytics platforms.
AI (Artificial Intelligence):
* Knowledge of AI technologies and their integration into BI processes for predictive analytics and enhanced decision-making.
SQL:
* Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, ensuring the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
Analytics:
* Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, including the ability to interpret trends, patterns, and outliers to derive actionable insights.
MS Power Apps:
* Experience in leveraging MS Power Apps for building and maintaining custom applications and automating business processes.
2. Delivers essential business training and support for new or existing systems, encompassing BI tools, which may include Microsoft Power Apps, DOMO, Microsoft Power BI, and other similar tools.
3. Offers secondary assistance for Oracle EBS, web applications, and diverse company's or third-party business systems.
4. Ensures uniform processes and methodologies are employed across all company's sites.
5. Ensures that new systems are appropriately tested and documented prior to implementation.
6. Ensures that departments leads are adequately trained prior to any use of new or
existing systems.
7. Ensures that training on internal systems is adequately documented.
8. Identifies opportunities to improve internal systems and processes.
9. Develops and enforces BI System procedures.
10. Provides project management when needed for improvement or implementation of new systems.
11. Manages department personnel by interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, disciplining, terminating, coordinating, and assigning work and other related duties.
12. Consistently provides an exceptional customer experience when engaging with colleagues,
end-users, and other stakeholders.
13. Performs a variety of management related tasks to ensure that system improvements are achieved, as required.
14. Performs other tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
* Five years of system design, implementation, and maintenance experience with four of those years in a supervisory capacity.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage the work of others.
* Ability to work with others effectively to analyze problems and implement solutions.
* Ability to work as a team member.
* Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
* Strong understanding of SQL.
* Project management experience
* Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software.
