We are looking for a Bio-Heap LeachingTechnology Principal Advisor to continue the development of the bio-heap leaching aspects of our Nuton technology.

This is a great opportunity to expand and develop your career inbio-heap leaching. You will use your expertise to extract and transfer knowledge into the design and controls of the operating heap to ensure the performance objectives of the plant are achieved.

Reporting to the Technology Transfer Manager and working in a collaborative community of experts in the bio leaching field, you will be:

  • Managing the Engineering Service Providers (ESP) scope, contract and relationship
  • Working with Nuton experts and our partner ESP to develop and optimise the Nuton bio-heap leaching technology
  • Managing and resolving technical and technology risks to develop the Nuton design
  • Driving a deep understanding of the interplay of the control parameters to optimse both the design and then the operation of the heap
  • Trouble shooting and suggesting changes to the operational control
  • Managing and maintaining technical risk and technical decision registers
  • Ensuring adequate change management is carried out when material changes to the Nuton technology are proposed
  • Delivering the operational readiness scope of Nuton for the heap and auxiliary equipment, including leading the development of the technical manuals and onsite technical training
  • Providing technical support to commissioning, start-up and performance guarantee testing

What you'll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
  • Demonstrated Experience in technical operational heap leaching with a strong background in bio-heap leaching
  • Experience transferring knowledge into design and operational documentation
  • Project management experience with the ability to critically review project deliverables to ensure continuity of the process design throughout all phases of the project. (engineering, procurement, operational readiness and commissioning)
  • Proven experience in complex stakeholder engagement
