The Senior General Manager will lead all property management activities for a Class-A high-rise asset located in Miami, Florida

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Property Management:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Class-A high-rise asset in Miami, FL, in accordance with the standards and procedures of JLL and the Management Agreement.
Ensure client and tenant satisfaction by maintaining high levels of service and responsiveness.
Achieve financial objectives, including NOI and cash flow targets, and operational objectives such as leasing, capital improvements, and tenant satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management:
Work closely with the property owners to understand their investment objectives and develop property-specific strategic plans.
Conduct regular action agenda meetings with the building owner to provide updates and discuss property-related matters.
Prepare the Annual Property Business Plan and re-forecasts based on owner requirements.
Communicate effectively with building owners and tenants, both in written and verbal form, to foster a successful relationship.

Financial Management:
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets aligned with the property's strategic plans.
Coordinate and oversee all services and purchases in accordance with the Annual Business Plan and spending guidelines.
Ensure financial objectives are met by managing expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maximizing revenue potential.

Team Management:
Manage, supervise, and develop building personnel, including the Chief Engineer, engineering staff, and property management staff.
Ensure compliance with JLL's employee performance process, address any personnel performance issues, and maintain personnel files.
Oversee payroll processes, including approving timesheets, distributing checks, and filing payroll registers.

Business Development:
Represent JLL Americas, Inc. within the local and regional business and real estate community.
Promote JLL's reputation and capabilities to prospective tenants and clients, thereby contributing to business growth and opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING/ WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE/WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Real Estate License: Must obtain a real estate license within the first six months of assuming the position and maintain an active license thereafter.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of seven years of commercial real estate is required, Class A experience is a plus.
At least three to four years of experience managing a team of three or more staff members.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents and other business-related materials. Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, correspondence, and manuals. Ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to analyze financial statements and interpret variances.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to handle practical problems and adapt to varying situations and instructions.
A strategic thinker with a focus on implementation and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other standard software programs. Familiarity with budget applications is required.
Must be able to travel to various sites within a local region.
