Job Description

Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Planner II-III to join our team in Utah. This position will support transportation planning projects for MPO's, local municipalities and state agencies. We have projects focused on all modes of mobility from walking, biking and other active modes to transit and general transportation.

This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated, established team of planners and engineers in delivering mobility solutions to our clients and communities. This position will join our Salt Lake City team and has flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.

Who you are

Experienced: Bachelor's or Master's degree in transportation planning, civil engineering, urban planning, geography, or a related field. 2+ years of transportation planning experience.

Strong Communication: You have strong writing and technical skills, experience utilizing GIS and have been involved with stakeholder engagement.

Collaborative: You have a strong team alignment and the ability to successfully integrate and collaborate within teams and across multidisciplinary groups. This position will liaise with our clients, communities, and other stakeholders.

Relationship-focused: You bring strong interpersonal skills, always take a collaborative approach, and thrive on developing rapport with colleagues and clients. You cultivate these professional relationships and understand their importance in maintaining quality delivery for our clients and a rewarding workplace experience.

Hard-working: You are self-motivated and ready to join a hard-working team that thrives on the development and delivery of high-quality projects.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $70,000-$85,000+. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
