Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Business Development Deal Manager to act as part of the Business Development team to drive expedited growth with key partners, wholesalers, and dealers. This role focuses on the tactical execution of business development growth within a multi-region geography by cultivating significant customer relationships.

Job Duties

  • Define and meticulously maintain a pipeline of strategic targets for growth, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and avoiding conflicts with regional goals.
  • Proactively develop and nurture new customer relationships aimed at enhancing the brand presence of Sinclair Stations in identified geographies.
  • Collaborate closely with area sales representatives and work in coordination with the Director of Sales to facilitate smooth customer onboarding. Ensure the timely delivery of commitments to our partners.
  • Manage the negotiation, signing, and sign-off processes of new sites. Ensure a seamless transition to the appropriate region or sales territory, guaranteeing successful onboarding and operationalization.
  • Support growth-focused initiatives, providing tactical guidance and operational support to ensure successful implementation.
  • Maintain frequent and effective communication with Regional Managers, Director of Business Development, and Director of Sales. Foster a collaborative environment that facilitates the exchange of critical information for strategic decision-making.

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.

Education Level

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A Master's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills

Ability to perform a variety of high-level assignments for the marketing department. Working knowledge of Microsoft products, and ability to multi-task, is required. Strong organizational skills; advanced leadership, effective delegation, negotiation and forward thinking skills; ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication, and across multiple department lines and manage third party locations. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
Work Conditions

Office based with up to 50% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, lifting and/or carrying up to 20lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 20lbs, and perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing, walking, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping.
