Overview

The perinatal sonographer is responsible for providing advanced ultrasound services for the patient experiencing high-risk pregnancy. The service is in collaboration with the maternal-fetal physician specializing in the appropriate diagnosis or concern and the gestational age of the pregnancy.

Responsibilities
    Performs Perinatal ultrasound procedures on Fetal Health patients in both the Outpatient and Inpatient settings and acts as a preceptor for novice imagers.
  • Performs Perinatal ultrasound duties and assists Maternal-Fetal physician in all appropriate procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to teamwork
  • Participate in learning and performance improvement activities designed to improve patient care and/or organizational processes.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience
  • Other Perinatal Ultrasound Experience and 3-5 years experience
  • One of the following: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, RDMS credential with an OB/GYN specialty, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echocardio required upon hire
  • RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) RDMS in OB Gyn and FE or RDCS-FE Required 180 Days
  • Current CEU's Required Upon Hire
  • NT Certification Required Upon Hire
  • RDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDCS) RDCS (FE) Preferred Upon Hire
Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $38.47/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
