The role reports to the Manager Systems Engineering and is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Systems engineering consists of the design, development, and introduction of systems to effectively utilize state-of-the-art developments encompassing various engineering and related fields and associated products within the utility industry.

• Work with an engineering team to assist with various aspects of our control systems projects for customers
• Hardware and software design and testing
• Use computer programs to perform various engineering operations
• Conduct analyses and provide related data and information
• Motivated to troubleshoot and research solutions during the duration while working on projects
• Attend training sessions both in person and on the job
• Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - both in the Cleveland office and remote from Cleveland

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering
• Power Plant/Process Control Experience is preferred
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, specifically, Word, Excel & Visio</li>
• Familiarization with DCS/PLC and Networks is preferred
• Strategic approach to problem solving, ability to analyze complex issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong customer service focus when supporting clients on proposal issues
• Must be highly motivated and have the ability to handle concurrent assignments
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US
• Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US
