HDR is hiring a Project Manager/Manager for our Real Estate Services group in South Florida. This position can be based out of our Doral (Miami), Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single discipline projects or large, routine projects for Right of Way related work, generally related to construction projects.
  • Manage Real Property projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination, and utility relocation/coordination.
  • Independently coordinate the work of professional staff and balance the team throughout the entire project's development.
  • Establish client relations and become involved with the marketing, contractual, right of way, and production meetings.
  • Responsible for coordinating workload through the entire project development to deliver right of way and property rights on schedule.
  • Tracking the financial aspects of the projects, and coordinating and adjusting the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-to schedule.
  • Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller, and Area Manager for project reviews with company management on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing projects for Right of Way, title, utility, relocation, property management or other industry areas, preferably with DOTs.
  • Expertise with Uniform Relocation Act and the Eminent Domain Process
  • Must be proficient with the federal, state, and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC, and Uniform Relocation Act regulations.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to review and understand real estate documents including title, appraisal, environmental, and survey
  • Proficient with standard technology tools such as: MS Office, Excel and Project.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop marketing plans, proposal documents and industry presentation and maintain lasting client relations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Database and GIS familiarity a plus.
